Good idea bad execution

Why do I have to pay for a year of premium to download 1-3 videos for offline viewing? I’m willing to pay the monthly premium price for that content , but not for year when I probalby need 1 month’s worth.

The bad plan offering plus the already mentioned shortcomings of the app made this a non-starter for me.
